In mixed systems with radiators and underfloor heating and cooling, Aquastop mechanically prevents the entry of cold water into the circuit on which it is installed, without the use of servomotors or electronic controls.  The device has a thermostat inside: when the water is at a temperature higher than 19 °C, i.e. in the winter heating phase, it keeps the passage open; when the temperature is lower than 19°C, i.e. in the summer cooling phase, the thermostat retracts and prevents the cold water from reaching the users. There are areas of the radiant system which during the summer cooling phase are particularly subject to the formation of surface condensation, such as bathrooms or rooms without adequate air treatment. Likewise, radiators and towel warmers cannot be supplied with cold water in summer either. In all these cases, Aquastop avoids the formation of condensation in a simple and economical way.
